Many are asking experiences on Siddha Mezhuku and its Preparation.It is true that no other medical branch having such a Wonderful Medicine. Mezhuku actually means it is prepared and kept in semi liquid or waxy constitution.In the meantime ,it is somewhat different from 'Siddha Kuzhambu Preparation.
Each Mezhuku is peculiar in its Preparation.It will be described in every Mezhuku. But one thing should be noted carefully that Mezhukus are very much poisonous and even deadly if dosage of its administration execeded.
Though these mese medicines are more or less like waxy or semi solid in state, some are strictly prescribed for internal use only and others are external use only. This should be stricktly adhered to and never should the medicine marked --for external use only--be taken internally as all these medicines are highly poisonous.
Some Mezhuks are prepared grinding in Kalvam for a specified hours, but some are preparing using fire and others are kept under Sunlight.Preparations may vary one to other.
Mezhukus can be kept many years without loosing its Potency. Now-a-days Siddha Graduates say it can be used for only 5 years, but the truth is that Fairly Prepared Mezhuku will retain its Potency For 90 years.Moreover Year after year , after its preparation , its Potency will Increase..
Many Mezhukus are can not be used immediately after its Preparation. For instance, RasaGandhi Mezhuku can be used only after 45 days after it is prepared and Idivallathi Mezhuku should be used only after 90 days of its preparation.
